Cabinets, dry wall, paint, molding and doors

This week they started putting in cabinets .

Basement full bathroom. We went with the standard cabinets for the three bathrooms. 

Railing will be stained to match the hardwood floors on the main floor. The stairs will have carpet.

Walls!!

So this week they started the dry wall!

This is from the morning room looking into family, dining and living room.

 There will be a front porch. Probably one of my favorites!

Recess lighting in the kitchen. 

Every week the house looks different. It's so crazy for fast the house is coming along.

Wiring and HVAC (heating, ventilation, air conditioning)

Last week the roof was finished, the wiring was done and the HVAC were installed. 

Also, on Friday we had our pre drywall meeting. This meeting focuses on what is it that goes inside the walls before the drywall goes up. Also, at this point they were able to tell us when our closing date will be, which is December 26th!! :) 

We also locked in our interest rate with NVR mortgage. We were able to lock it in at 3%.

They say at this point everything goes pretty quickly! Looking forward for next weekend to see the changes..

Morning room has five windows. 

Plus the doors to the balcony will let tons of light in. 

The oil rubbed bronze finishing on all the door handles and hinges through out the house.

Now upstairs again. The boys' rooms. All three standing in their own room.

Done! It was so awesome to see the progress today.

October 19th

We went inside our house and saw all the  "see through" walls. It was neat to see all the rooms partitioned out and to visualize all the rooms.

My doors that I picked! It was so cool to see some of the things we picked being done. This opens to the balcony. 

Going upstairs

There will be 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms upstairs and the laundryroom. 

Now going downstairs to the basement. We are finishing the basement. It will have a full bathroom and an additional room which we will use as a 5th bedroom.
